War Mechanics

🏰 SiegeWar – War Mechanics βš”οΈ

SiegeWar is the central war system on our server, enabling towns and nations to engage in strategic conflicts over land, independence, and influence. Here’s everything you need to know about how it works:

πŸ”₯ Starting a Siege

  • Nations attack towns by placing a banner near the town’s borders.

  • A Siege Assembly begins the war effort β€” attackers must score 50 points within 10 minutes to initiate the siege.

  • There are two types of sieges:

    • 🏴 Conquest Siege – A nation attacks a town to claim it.

    • ⚑ Revolt Siege – A town revolts to regain independence.

βš”οΈ Battle Sessions

  • Battle Sessions occur during designated times (Friday to Sunday).

  • Each session lasts 60 minutes, deciding control of the siege.

  • Only residents of the town can spawn within a besieged town during battle.

  • The main objective is to hold the banner and defeat enemies to earn siege points.

πŸ“ Siege Zones & Combat Rules

  • A 200-block radius around the banner defines the Siege Zone.

  • PvP is always enabled in Siege Zones during Battle Sessions.

  • Non-participants receive War Sickness (Weakness, Slowness, Nausea).

  • Teleportation is disabled near Siege Zones to maintain fairness.

πŸ† Winning & Losing

  • Sieges are decided by siege points:

    • 🏴 Holding the banner gives points every 20 seconds.

    • πŸ’€ Killing enemies grants bonus points.

      • Defenders: +65 points per kill

      • Attackers: +50 points per kill

  • A Decisive Victory occurs at Β±5000 points, granting additional strategic benefits.

  • The victorious side can occupy or plunder the defeated town if allowed by server settings.

πŸ›οΈ Occupation & Town Restrictions

  • If attackers win, they may occupy the town, forcing it to pay taxes.

  • Towns under siege cannot:

    • 🏑 Claim new land

    • πŸ§‘β€πŸ€β€πŸ§‘ Recruit new residents

    • ❌ Unclaim land to escape the siege

  • Peaceful towns are immune to sieges but can be subverted β€” instantly taken over by a nearby nation.

βš™οΈ Extra Features

  • πŸ›‘οΈ Keep Inventory is enabled during sieges, but gear loses 5% durability upon death.

  • πŸŽ† Fireworks are triggered when a player dies in siege combat.

  • πŸ—ΊοΈ Beacons and map markers highlight active Siege Zones.

  • 🏰 Surface Warfare discourages excessive underground fighting and encourages building above-ground defenses.

SiegeWar is a high-stakes, tactical system that reshapes the world’s political landscape. Prepare your town, gather allies, and brace for war β€” will you defend your legacy or fall to the flames of conquest? βš”οΈπŸ”₯
