War Mechanics
π° SiegeWar - War Mechanics βοΈ
SiegeWar is a war system in our server that allows towns and nations to fight for control of land, plunder enemy settlements, and change the political landscape. Below is a breakdown of how it works!
π₯ Starting a Siege
Nations attack towns by placing a banner near the town.
The war officially begins after a Siege Assembly, where attackers must score 50 points within 10 minutes to start the siege.
There are two types of sieges:
π΄ Conquest Siege β A nation attacks a town to take control.
β‘ Revolt Siege β A town fights back to regain independence.
βοΈ Battle Sessions
Sieges happen during Battle Sessions, which occur at specific times (Friday-Sunday).
Each session lasts 60 minutes and determines control over the siege.
Only town residents can spawn inside their besieged town during battle.
The main goal is to hold the siege banner and defeat enemies to earn siege points.
π Siege Zones & Combat Rules
A 200-block radius around the banner is the Siege Zone.
PvP is always enabled inside Siege Zones during Battle Sessions.
Players not involved in the siege get War Sickness (weakness, slowness, and nausea).
Teleportation is disabled near Siege Zones to prevent unfair advantages.
π° Siege Costs & Rewards
Attacking a town costs money!
5 per plot to start a siege.
30 per plot goes into the Warchest, which the winner keeps.
40 per plot can be plundered from the losing town.
If a town cannot afford plunder, they must repay the debt over 7 days.
π Winning & Losing
The siege is decided by siege points:
π΄ Holding the banner gives points every 20 seconds.
π Killing enemies earns extra points.
Defenders get +65 points per kill.
Attackers get +50 points per kill.
A Decisive Victory happens at Β±5000 points and grants extra rewards.
The winning side takes the Warchest, and if enabled, can occupy or plunder the town.
ποΈ Occupation & Town Restrictions
If attackers win, they can occupy the town, forcing it to pay taxes.
Towns under siege cannot:
Claim new land π‘
Recruit new members π§βπ€βπ§
Unclaim land to escape β
Peaceful towns are immune to sieges but can be subverted (instantly taken over by a nearby nation).
βοΈ Extra Features
π‘οΈ Keep Inventory is enabled in Siege Zones, but gear loses 5% durability on death.
π Fireworks spawn when a player dies in a siege battle.
πΊοΈ Beacons & Map Markers help locate siege zones easily.
π° Surface Warfare prevents excessive underground fights and encourages building defenses.
SiegeWar is an intense and strategic battle system that changes the worldβs balance of power. Will your town rise or fall? βοΈπ₯
