🏰 Getting Started with Towny Land Claiming
Towny allows players to create towns, claim land, and protect their builds from griefers while developing a thriving community. Based on our server's custom configuration, here’s how you can start your own town and claim land!
🏡 Creating Your Own Town
Want to become a mayor and start a town? Follow these steps:
Step 1: Check Your Balance 💰
Ensure you have at least $500.00 in-game currency. Use:

Step 2: Create Your Town 🏙️
Use the command below to create your town:
📌 Note: Your town will start with 100 town blocks by default.
Step 3: Claim Your First Land 🗺️
After creating your town, stand on the land you want to claim and type:
This protects the area from other players!
🏘️ Claiming & Expanding Your Town
Your town starts with a 100-block claim bonus and can expand based on the number of residents.
Step 1: Check Your Claim Limits 📏
To see how much land your town can claim, use:
Step 2: Claim Additional Town Blocks
To expand your town’s land, stand in an unclaimed area and type:
💡 Tip: The more residents you have, the more land you can claim!
Step 3: Unclaim Land ❌
Need to remove land from your town? Stand in the claimed area and use:
📌 Note: You cannot claim land in ocean biomes or areas with more than 55% water!
👥 Inviting Residents to Your Town
Growing your town increases the amount of land you can claim.
Step 1: Invite a Player 🤝
Use the following command:
Step 2: Player Joins the Town ✔️
Once they accept, they become a resident of your town! 🎉
🔹 More residents = more town blocks!
⚙️ Managing Town Permissions
As the mayor 🏛️, you have control over who can build, destroy, or interact in your town.
Step 1: Set Player Permissions 🔧
Use this command to modify town permissions:
📌 Example permissions:
build 🏗️ – Allow a player to build in the town.
destroy ⛏️ – Allow breaking blocks.
access 🔓 – Allow opening doors, chests, etc.
🚧 Protecting Your Town
Once land is claimed, only town members can build or interact. 🚫 Griefers CANNOT break blocks, steal, or interfere with your town.
📌 Town Upkeep:
Your town requires $10.00 per day to remain active.
Make sure to keep enough money in your town bank:

💰 Need more money? Earn cash by doing jobs, trading, or selling resources!
🏡 Want more land?
As your town grows, you can claim more land. Use /town info to see your claim limits.
🚶 Leaving a town? If you want to leave a town, type:
